Jessica,
I hope this message finds you well. A friend and former classmate of mine at St. Lawrence U, Tim Akers, gave me your contact information. I am hoping for your help!
I have been an Admissions Counselor at The College of New Jersey for about three years now, and am close to completing my MS through Drexel University in Higher Education Administration. This program culminates in a co-op program where we actively research a topic of our choice. I have chosen to research and analyze how an institution’s social media presence effects its college admissions program. Part of my active research will be a survey administered to undergraduates at TCNJ. The second part will be conducting interviews with admissions/social media professionals at other institutions.
The phone interview will take 15 – 30 minutes. All subjects will remain 100% anonymous and may choose to terminate their participation at any point during the study. I was hoping that you are free sometime in the next two weeks. As you know, as an Admissions Counselor, I am on the road a lot over the next few weeks, but carry my laptop with me mostly everywhere. Let me know when a good time for you is and hopefully we can get together soon!
Again, thanks for the response and your willingness to contribute to my research!
Best,
Jay Jacobs
