I like to give our college’s account a little bit of personality, whether through daily roundups or showing a sense of humor, but in a way it’s necessarily institutional. I’ve done interviews about Twitter and say I’m the one who does it, but it’s as if that’s a different arena. But I do know that when small businesses I’m following change their avatar from a logo to a face, that does change the level of connection.
